How come a man always get offended when he's rejected by a woman.?

i met some one a while back and we became friends. his looks are tempting,but when i found out how he really was i lost interest.he got offended by it and he began to insult me with his friends, i told him how i felt but he's still angry, telling his friends how much he's in love. i also notice him watching and some times following me.i've heard comments about what he's been saying about me and we never got around to socializing or exchanging numbers.he sees me talking to other men he gets mad ,hes telling the men that i communicate with he and i have a relationship. they come back and tell me these things.some times i see him with different women and i'm thinking may be he's found some one ,but its the same thing, how do i get rid of him?How come a man always get offended when he's rejected by a woman.?
What he describes is not love but rather obsession. He's mad, angry and offended because his ego has been brusied by your rejection.





Keep ignoring him. If he's actually following you, start documenting it, write it down - when, where and time. If you have to tell him you will file a restraining order.
