A little help with the evolution of man... :P?

Hey all, i got a history project to make, on the evolution of man. now that is a really broad concept. but i've narrowed it out smwhat. now the list of subtopics is like- introduction, before homo, then a brief description of early homo species, autralopithecus and it goes on.... now the problem comes in when i have to write about the time when man started settling down at one place, started farming, using stone tools (actually i've got some info in usage of stone tools) and started communicating (writing and language). also, i would like to write about hunter-gatherer groups and societies- from the past to the present.

In short, this project is abt progress of man as he evolved. could you please suggest some online links that gove me more info on-

1. beginning of settled life.

2. how man started communicating

3. his ways of obtaining food.

4. hunter-gatherers

any other suggestions about what i can do to make this project better will be appreciated too. also, i've tried to google these topics, but since they have too many words, i didnt get any worthwhile results. I am in 11th grade by the way, so i do not need very in depth info. :)

All help would be appreciated coz i have just 5 days to complete and compile this project, i have to write it in my hand... please suggest some links and any other suggestion u may have...

Thankyou very much!

PS- please see it fro a historical point of view, not hard-core scientific... thankyou...A little help with the evolution of man... :P?
